It’s the season to be grateful, and if you live in or around Sarasota, that in itself is a blessing. Beautiful beaches, vibrant arts and culture, wonderful restaurants, the golf courses, I could go on and on. Family is always something I’m very grateful for – my three boys (now young men) have brought more joy to my life than I could express.
And now, Chase, my youngest son, has recently joined me in his own pursuit of a real estate career. Perhaps some of you have already met him; I’ve put him right to work. Chase grew up watching family dinners and functions interrupted with phone calls more times than not – he’s got a leg up on a true understanding of the dedication it takes to achieve success. I’m not only proud of him, but excited to see him excel in my own chosen profession.
I’m grateful for every client who has put their trust in me. This Thanksgiving, I am reminded of this quote: “If a fellow isn’t thankful for what he’s got, he isn’t likely to be thankful for what he’s going to get.” In these challenging times of unrest and suffering, Thanksgiving becomes an even more poignant time to reflect on our blessings.
