The city of Sarasota, the town of Longboat Key, and the Florida Department of Transportation are working together to bring crossing guards to the two busiest areas on the Circle - John Ringling Boulevard heading toward the Circle and North Boulevard of the Presidents, heading toward Longboat Key. The crossing guards, who haven't yet been hired, will be positioned there from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, from March 13 to April 12.
