Whether you’re buying, selling, investing, or waiting – eyes are glued on the real estate market. So what exactly is happening? The short answer is: supply and demand. The longer answer is also supply and demand, and it’s not clear at all to me that things are going to slow down significantly in the near future. The current high influx of buyers from all over the country that hope to relocate to our area is expected to continue throughout this year, along with new international buyers approaching as borders now start opening (read my latest blog). The real estate market has rarely been this competitive, especially for luxury properties.
Putting aside the current market insanity, if you are ready to list your residence for sale, part of your due diligence includes finding a real estate agent who is comfortable and experienced in the luxury market – marketing luxury property is not standardized and not a result of a repetitive system with a one-size-fits-all, plug-and-play concept.
